License key

• Your key arrives by email from Polar right after the purchase. Paste it in Galdr → Settings → License.
• Lost the email? Open Polar’s customer portal (Settings → License → Manage Purchase in the app) and sign in with your email to see your key and receipt.
• One key works on three Macs. To move it, choose Deactivate This Mac on the old one, or remove the activation in the customer portal.

Model downloads

• Galdr downloads its speech and speaker models the first time you ask, and the summary model (about 3 GB) when you first summarize. After that it works offline.
• If a download stops, click it again — it continues where it left off.

Meetings

• macOS asks for screen and audio recording permission the first time you record an app. If you declined, allow Galdr in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.
• If a recording is interrupted, Galdr offers to retry, keep the part it has, or discard it the next time it starts.

When you write

Tell us your Galdr version (Settings → About), your macOS version, and what happened. Please don’t send recordings or transcripts unless we ask and you’re comfortable with it.
